INTERNET

Ambleside is not included in the NBN rollout of fibre services, however there are options such as ADSL, Yless4u, Sky Muster satellite NBN service, Starlink and 4g wireless internet.

We finally have some choice available, however, you need to evaluate each plan and see what suits your circumstances.

VOLUNTEER SCHEME

The community operates a volunteer scheme where residents receive recognition and reimbursement for committee duties and activities performed to maintain the community grounds and infrastructure.

LIVESTOCK

All livestock owners in the Estate have a duty of care and should regularly inspect their stock at least once per day, to ensure their welfare and urgently address any injuries or illness, to prevent animals suffering unnecessarily.

Under the NSW Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1979, it is an offence to fail to provide veterinary treatment to an animal in need.  Failure to seek treatment (or where appropriate, euthanasia) of animals that are suffering can lead to heavy financial penalties and/or up to a year’s imprisonment under the Act.

The NSW Local Land Services have lots of information on their website (and can be contacted in person) to provide advice on preventative healthcare for livestock, including vaccinations, control of internal and external parasites, disease management etc.  Go to this link for further information
